For some reason the music to 17 AGAIN is all about energy. Burr steered me on this path, making sure I was finding the colours he was looking for, often pushing me to be darker, or more energetic in the music than I was expecting. He came over to the workshop each week, his foot in a cast because of his own over-energetic life. We recorded with a wonderful orchestra in San Francisco. I think it's about energy because our main character, Mike, suddenly finds himself young again, and so bursting with vibrancy and youthful vigor, hungrily trying to figure out the mystery of his mission, and of his life.
