In talking with Mark about how Ghosts... should be scored he emphasized that I should take Connor's situations seriously- when he's scared we should really feel it! The result, a pretty dramatic music, with much darker colours, steeper contours between the light and the grave, the witty and the sinister. Connor is being pushed from the past to the future in a bid to get him to "feel", and the music attempts to illuminate and embody his emotional roller-coaster ride.
